DUNDEE TIGERS have announced that 17 year old Pavel Pliskov has agreed to return to the club for the 2015/16 season.
Pliskov made his debut for the Tigers last year but his campaign was tragically cut short by a serious shoulder injury.
However, he’s fully recovered and raring to go again and Pavel can’t wait to re-start his senior hockey career.
A Tigers spokesman said: “Pavel was a breath of fresh air last season, but unfortunately we’re unable to operate a junior development section at the club and we sometimes struggle to get youth in the team.
“It was great to have some new blood on board and Pavel’s enthusiasm is infectious. It was a real blow when we lost him just as he was starting to make his mark.
“But he looks like he’s come back bigger and stronger after the summer break and he could make a big impact on the league this year.”
With the new season fast approaching Tigers are working hard to finalise the return of some well known faces as well as some new additions to the squad for the year ahead.
