PAISLEY PIRATES returned to home ice for the first time this season and managed to see off a spirited Solway Sharks in a 4-3 win.
Jamie Kerr’s men got the ideal start when Tom Watson and Connor Smith both found the net inside the opening seven minutes to give them an unexpected lead.
But Pirates pulled their socks up in the second period and drew level with the Dumfries side through goals from Chris Wilson and Fraser Campbell.
Watson edged the Sharks ahead soon after, but the home side turned the game in their favour during the third period as Wilson picked up his second of the game and a winner from David Orr on the powerplay with minutes to go.

Aberdeen couldn’t break them down in the end and they remain two points off the top, sitting in third place following their two matches over the weekend.
