SCOTTISH CUP QUARTER FINAL:
KIRKCALDY KESTRELS 1 PAISLEY PIRATES 4

TWO goals from Stuart Miller sent Paisley Pirates through to the Scottish Cup Semi Finals as they swept past the current SNL league leaders Kirkcaldy Kestrels.

Quick goals in the final minute of the first period set the tone as Miller opened the scoring before Liam Cassidy restored parity for the home side.

However Ian Turley’s side started to put some daylight between themselves and the hosts in the second period as Miller struck seconds into the middle period.

Then they finished the job in the final ten minutes as Scott Cowan made it 3-1 before Fraser Campbell applied the icing on the cake as the Pirates fans celebrated.

Paisley will now face either Aberdeen Lynx or Kilmarnock Storm, who play on Sunday 3rd January, in the semi final.
